(Digital) GRIEF AT THE TABLE: HOLIDAY EDITION, GRIEF SUPPORT FROM VOICES OF COLOR
During this season of gathering and holidays, grief can show up in a kitchen, at a table, at an altar, at a house of worship, at an airport, or at the store. It can and is particularly challenging for folks from Communities of Color. But these moments of gathering and togetherness can also be a space for healing and care.
"Grief is a deep yearning to return to the calling of our body. It's a craving for connection, truth, love and pleasure. Our ancestors have transmitted their wisdom for how to live and how to grieve through our foods and rituals. The wild garden where we can flourish resides deep within us, and my deepest hope is we can all be guided there through our intuition...." says Roshni Kavate @cardamomandkavateIn an effort to support POC folks who are met with grief during this particularly complex period - cohort members from the PAUSE Business Development Residency created this incredible zine, "Grief at the Table".
Pre-order #GriefAtTheTable to hear from thought leaders in death, dying, and grief on how personal and familial losses pushed them to answer the question: When you are met with grief - how does it make itself known and how do you handle it?
